RV Driving Services
Company R.P.Consult BV(BE 0885.351.464), hereinafter referred to as ‘RV Driving Services’, operates a service for the hire of vehicles with driver, called a street taxi, and holds a licence issued by the Municipality of Kapelle op den Bos on 18/01/2023 in accordance with Article 41 of the Decree of 20/04/2001 on the organisation of passenger transport by road.
RV Driving Services is insured in accordance with the legal provisions governing passenger transport and holds the necessary licences.
RV Driving Services undertakes to transport the client and/or the client’s goods from their place of departure to their destination.
Our general terms and conditions are always applicable to all transport agreements at RV Driving Services and form a basis for any disputes.
OFFER
All price quotations are valid for 1 month only, unless another period is expressly stipulated in writing, and are subject to revision should the prices of operating assets increase.
RESERVATIONS
You have the options to book via the website or by e-mail. If this is not possible, you can contact us by telephone. Please note: during busy periods, it is sometimes difficult to reach us by phone because we are on the road with guests. It is necessary to book at least 24 hours in advance. The booking becomes final after we send you confirmation, by e-mail.
AGREEMENT
When entering into a transport contract, both the client and all persons to be transported must have read and accepted the terms and conditions.
For each contract entered into with RV Driving Services, the hirer declares that he is invoking a service of at least 3 hours, intermittent or not.
The following details must be provided when concluding a transport agreement; pick-up address(es), times of pick-up, destination, flight details if any, flight times if any, airport if any, number of persons (adults – children), age of children, number of pieces of luggage. Additional luggage such as wheelchairs, golf bag, pram, ski equipment,…. should be mentioned in advance.
We ask you to always provide us with correct information such as flight changes, change of flight numbers, missed flights, etc….
If we are put in possession of incorrect information confirmed by the customer, the total amount remains due.
DEPARTURE
Regarding airport transfers, passengers are picked up at least 3 hours before the flight departure time to ensure timely and stress-free arrival.
We expect guests to be ready at the agreed hour, at the agreed place to make the ride as smooth as possible. Should this not be the case, a waiting time will be charged at €10.00 per 15 minutes.
ARRIVAL
After receiving your luggage, you will immediately come to the pre-arranged meeting-point.
We generally arrive at the airport 20 to 30 min after landing, unless you have no luggage or only hand luggage.
If it appears that the customer holds up transport after arrival, the extra time will be charged at €10.00 per quarter-hour.
In the event of any flight changes, there is a chance that we may not be able to accommodate this in our schedule. We hereby reserve the right to cancel your transport free of charge.
In the event of a substantial change in the arrival and/or departure time, we must be notified in good time. Failing this, the full amount will be charged, plus any waiting time at €10.00 per quarter of an hour.
In case of night flights, please ensure that you state the correct arrival time and time and not the departure time or day abroad.
In case of a delay in airport, station or port, we give priority to departing customers. In case of serious delays, we cannot guarantee to carry out the ride. We will of course make every effort to still carry out the transfer.
In case of a customer’s delay not reported in advance, a maximum of 45 minutes will be waited.
If your flight has landed early, you might have to wait for the driver, depending on our schedule. Of course, we will make every effort to avoid this.
We ask customers to give us their mobile number and activate their phone on arrival so that we can be notified in case of delay or force majeure. If you experience problems with your luggage or any other problem after landing, we kindly ask you to inform us by phone.
CANCELLING
You can cancel free of charge up to 24h.before the agreed pick-up time. After that, or if you do not show up, the full amount will be charged, unless you can provide proof of force majeure (illness, death, etc.). The cancellation must always be sent by email.
RV Driving services cannot be held responsible for delays, changes or cancellations of the ordered service due to force majeure or other circumstances that are unforeseeable. However, we will make every effort to avoid this.
ROAD CODE
We strictly adhere to the highway code. Similarly, we ask that all occupants comply with the regulations regarding the wearing of seat belts and the compulsory use of child seats. Seats are provided free of charge (subject to availability). People with a seat belt exemption must be able to present their exemption.
Fines imposed as a result of traffic controls at the expense of the offender or the civil responsibility in the case of minors will be borne by the offender.
RV Driving services is not responsible for the cases where an accident occurs and a fellow passenger is injured by a passenger not wearing the seat belt. Any associated medical expenses may be recovered from the persons who caused the bodily injury.
Deviations from our standard services may be negotiated in advance by mutual agreement. These deviations may involve an additional cost which will be communicated to the customer in advance.
PETS
Only small pets can be transported, after consultation, and only in a pet bag provided by the customer.
Travelling pets may not cause inconvenience or danger to the driver or other passengers.
The animal or transport may be refused if not discussed in advance or if no animal bag is provided. The cost of the entire transport will be charged to the client.
FOOD AND DRINKS
The consumption of food and beverages will not be allowed unless otherwise discussed in advance, out of respect for our cars and passengers that follow.
DAMAGE AND SOILING
For damages and soiling of any kind, there will be a minimum charge of €150.00, which will be paid immediately to the driver. Our vehicles are always serviced and repaired in an official garage. The invoice of the repair works will be charged to the customer, as well as the costs involved and the unavailability of the vehicle.
SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibited in our vehicles.
COURTEOUS
RV Driving services is committed to treating the client in a courteous and respectful manner.
The client is expected to do the same towards the driver and other passengers.
Passengers who misbehave, whether or not due to intoxication of alcohol or drugs, may be asked by the driver to leave the vehicle immediately. The full amount will be billed to the customer.
EXPRESS TRANSPORT
For goods transport and express courier, the agreement is in writing. The sender completes all transport documents (delivery note, CMR, etc.) and provides all the information necessary for the transport to run smoothly. He is responsible for the correctness and legibility of these documents. He alone is responsible for correctly completing the documents and for complying with customs formalities and the competent authorities.
The sender must inform RV Driving services at the time of the order of the correct nature of the goods, the danger they may cause and the precautions to be taken.
RV Driving services reserves at all times the right to refuse transport.
Packaging of the goods will be carried out by the sender, unless otherwise agreed in the order. The sender shall protect the goods against all risks of transport, including by taking into account the nature, destination and operations peculiar to the transport.
RV Driving services may, at the request of the Client, offer insurance, which must be requested at the latest at the time of the transport order, subject to payment of the premium. Should the sender himself take out insurance, he must inform RV Driving services.
Should it appear that, due to the fault of the client, the order cannot be carried out, compensation will be due.
PAYMENTS
Payments must be arranged in advance by bank transfer, or at the latest before departure to the driver in cash or via Payconiq. The full amount of both the outward and return journey should be arranged here. Payment by bank or credit card is possible but must be stated in advance. An extra €2.00 will be charged. A receipt is always possible. Please request this in advance so that the driver can provide it upon payment, without loss of time.
Payment by bank transfer must be made into our account at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the contract will be considered cancelled.
If required, an invoice will be sent to the customer. The customer will make this wish known at the latest 7 days after the transport. The customer agrees to an electronic invoice.
Companies may pay by bank transfer after receipt of the invoice, according to the invoicing conditions.
INVOICING CONDITIONS
Our invoices are payable in cash, unless otherwise agreed in the order confirmation. In that case, the invoice must be paid before the due date mentioned on the invoice, or at the latest 30 calendar days after the invoice date. Every overdue and unpaid invoice will, by operation of law and without prior warning, be increased by a 12% interest on arrears. R.P.Consult BV will no longer be obliged to carry out further services in accordance with whatever agreement before the overdue sums have been settled. The amount of unpaid invoices shall be increased ipso jure by way of damages by 15% and with a minimum of €75.00 from the day following the due date of these invoices, this without prior immateriality and without prejudice to the principal sum, the default interests and all collection, reminder and follow-up costs. The aforementioned damages are due in order to compensate the supplier for all his extrajudicial expenses, in case of loss, administration costs and fees. Complaints relating to the services provided shall only be admissible insofar as they are forwarded by registered letter to R.P.Consult BV, Hanswijkstraat 43/202, 2800 Mechelen, within seven days of dispatch of the invoice. The courts of the canton and district in which the head office is located are competent to adjudicate all disputes and controversies.
RV Driving Services reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
All complaints concerning transport must be made by e-mail against receipt or by registered letter within 7 days after the invoice date.
In case of disputes regarding invoices, Belgian law shall apply. Only the courts of the Mechelen district have jurisdiction.
These conditions apply to all offers, agreements and invoices.
